Privacy policy

The short version

We use your resume data only to provide PopCVs to you. We don't sell it, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

What we store

• Account: your email address and name, from email sign-in or Google.
• Content: resumes, uploaded files, job descriptions you paste, analyses, tailored versions and cover letters.
• Billing: credit balance, purchase history and Razorpay order IDs. We never see or store card or UPI details.
• Connected apps: which AI assistants you connected via MCP, and when they last used your account.

Who processes it

• Our servers and database (self-hosted Supabase): all account data and content.
• Anthropic (Claude AI models): the resume, file or job description text needed for the AI feature you run, when you run it.
• Razorpay: payments.
• Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
• Google Analytics: anonymous usage statistics (pages visited, device type, approximate location) set with cookies, so we can see which pages help people. It never receives your resume content.

AI assistants (MCP)

When you connect PopCVs to an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT, that assistant can read and change your resumes and spend your credits on your behalf. What it does with the data it receives is governed by that provider's policy. You can revoke access at any time in Settings → Connected apps.

Your choices

You can edit or delete any resume at any time. To delete your account and all its data, email hello@popcvs.com from your account address and we'll do it within 30 days.
